Recycled pets are good for the planet and humanity. Healthy, adoptable animals are euthanized everyday in shelters across the US. Let's change that and prove that we believe in the power of recycling. Animals all over the world are ready to help you recycle and eager to meet you at your local shelter or rescue.
An estimated 3-4 million animals are euthanized in US shelters each year – that’s nearly 10,000 animals killed every day. They were unwanted, abandoned, surrendered, unclaimed, lost, forgotten and never made it out of the shelter. That is the heartbreaking reality. Animal rescue organizations all over the world are working hard to save homeless animals in their communities.

Summer flew by working on the Perfect Exposure Project (PEP) for HeARTs Speak. Thrilled to be a part of the HeARTs Speak team and the launch of PEP at the NYC Animal Care & Control Shelter and the Animal Care and Control Team Shelter in Philadelphia. HeARTs Speak purchased cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, backdrops, created field guides and conducted a two day workshop at each shelter. We taught each shelter how to take better photographs and positively promote their adoptable animals using all forms of media.
