Patterns, Shapes and Lines in Nature

Seeking out patterns, shapes, lines and colorful subjects in nature is a great exercise for your eyes and brain.  Nature is a never ending supply of all of these things.  Below are some photos of various plants, flowers and trees that caught my eye. The first photo is titled Music in the Garden, because the blades of grass reminded me of musical notes.  I took this photo at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, AZ.  Every time I go there, I see something different.  It is one of my favorite places to get lost with my camera.

Water Lily  I love the interplay of the vines beneath the water and their connection with the lily pads and flower.

This flower made me think of the sun rising on a misty morning.
